Visual Studio Programming for Web and Legacy Projects
ParticleWave is a Sacramento area company which provides custom Visual Studio progamming services for both web based and legacy applications. We have over fifteen years of programming and web application experience, with about half of that using the Microsoft tool suite.

Our present efforts in new development are vertical applications for Sales and Real Estate as well as Personal Productivity software written in Visual Studio 2008. Since there is no legacy SQL Server stored procedure layer in this case, we're executing the database model layer almost exclusively in LINQ to SQL.
- Maintenance of Legacy C and C++ Applications For Windows
Our current major client is a legacy shop with a codebase written primarily in C (but partially in C++) that stretches back over the last twenty years. We worked with many of the tools this product was written in before they were "legacy tools". (Indeed, our "Visual Studio" experience predates the Studio, with our first exposure to Microsoft tools coming just after C7 with Visual C++ 1.0. The software is an Windows based SQL application development tool which features an access layer to multiple back end data sources including Oracle, Sql Server, Informix, Sybase, and others.
- Web Site Design and Maintenance
We offer web site designs that are affordable and tailor our services to our clients' needs to find the solution that's optimal for a given budget. We can design from scratch or start with a variety of existing low-cost or no-cost templates to save you money. Our sites are simple yet attractive, and are designed to be fully accessible both to your clients and the search engines. We optionally offer low cost hosting on the same servers on which we host our in-house sites and blogs.

In addition to a career in software development, our principle worked for over five years in the real estate industry, creating and maintaining several of the most successful and highly ranked web sites in the greater Sacramento area. We've done everything from simple, template based sites and blogs to massively custom IDX integration.

In addition to our Visual Studio work, we've also done extensive web application work using open source tools. We have an extensive background in customizing and extending Wordpress, Drupal, and other open source products, as well as writing custom PHP forms and reports against a MySql back end.
